Foreign domestic helpers working in Hong Kong who do not have proven immunity<strong> <\/strong>and fulfill the following criteria are eligible for free MMR vaccination:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(1) Born in or after 1967, and have not received two doses of measles vaccination before, and did not have laboratory confirmed measles infection; or<br>(2) Have laboratory evidence of tested non-immune to measles (i.e. tested negative\/indeterminate for measles immunoglobulin G). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Documents_to_bring_along_for_vaccination\"><\/span>Documents to bring along for vaccination<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>(1) Employment contract or working visa; and<br>(2) Hong Kong Identity Card or Passport<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The outsourced private medical organisation will transfer a copy of the above-mentioned documents to the Department of Health for identity verification and record purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Time_and_venue_of_service\"><\/span>Time and venue of service<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible foreign domestic helpers can make appointments for the first and\/ or second dose of MMR vaccination from now on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chp.gov.hk\/files\/pdf\/info_clinic_hk_eng.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Hong Kong Island<\/strong><\/a> (service till 15 February 2020)<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chp.gov.hk\/files\/pdf\/info_clinic_k_eng.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Kowloon<\/strong><\/a> (service till 15 February 2020)<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chp.gov.hk\/files\/pdf\/info_clinic_nt_eng.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>New Territories<\/strong><\/a> (service till 15 December 2019)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is the list of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chp.gov.hk\/files\/pdf\/info_outreach_eng.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">group\/ outreach venues providing MMR vaccination service<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Please be noted that prior booking for vaccination is necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"8_Steps_of_receiving_MMR_vaccination\"><\/span>8 Steps of receiving MMR vaccination<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>(1) Choose a designated clinic or group\/ outreach vaccination venue in any region<br>(2) Call the designated phone number for enquiry and book an appointment<br>(3) Bring along the employment contract or working visa; and the Hong Kong Identity Card or Passport when going for the injections<br>(4) Read the information about measles vaccination provided by the service provider<br>(5) Complete the screening questionnaire provided by the service provider, which will be used to assess the suitability for vaccination<br>(6) Sign the Consent Form at the vaccination venue<br>(7) Receive MMR vaccination<br>(8) Receive a vaccination card with details recorded: name of recipient, type of vaccine, date of vaccination and name of service provider<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The above information is taken from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chp.gov.hk\/en\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><strong>Department of Health<\/strong><\/a> website and is also available in <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chp.gov.hk\/en\/features\/102254.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>other languages<\/strong><\/a>.
