Training - Intermediate Indian Cooking Class

Training Center - Sav's Cooking Intermediate Indian Cooking Class by Sav's Cooking

The 4-day course is spread over 4 weeks. On the first day, the students are taken to the market to source the ingredients, before returning to the kitchen to learn 4 dishes. The students then recreate what they have learned, the students are then able to sit down and enjoy a meal with each other, this happens at the end of every class.
The following week, in our experience, students return with questions and happy stories. The extra confidence is evident in the second week and continues throughout the course. The students are tested on their knowledge as the weeks progress. Altogether 16 dishes are taught: starters, mains, sides and salads.
On the final day, in addition to learning their final 4 dishes, they receive their certificate, lots of high fives and exchanged phone numbers.
Your helper will learn to not only recognise and source spices, but also the benefits and preparations of spices. This foundation will help them in preparing well-balanced and healthy meals.

Price shown is for 1 day course. If you'd like to book the whole 4-day course, then please contact us, or purchase 4 times online directly.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you! Delicious! I even managed to secretly save some for my lunch today… before I placed the meal on the table of course. I wasn’t taking the risk of hoping for leftovers! Kids love the mild chickpea dish. And the pomegranates in the quinoa. The flat bread was a massive hit. We were fighting over the last one and I know the kids would love them for lunches. Elliott and I loved it all. Thanks again.” - Melissa Shadforth “Hi Sav, Dora has recreated the lamb vindaloo and Dahl and raita and it was superb!!! Long may it continue. The course has just been great and worth every cent!...” - Karen “Sav, Thank you so much for a delicious meal on Sunday night! I was able to serve my in-laws from Sydney as well, and they loved it. My boys loved it and asked for seconds! I’ll try to send you a picture of one of them with his empty bowl! Thanks again…” – Kris M “Thank you, Sav, for a delicious day. Always enjoy your commentary about nutrition and the great accompany!...” – Margaret “Shamalie really enjoyed the cooking class yesterday! And she’s going to cook the lamb curry with naan today – we had a small taste yesterday and they were delicious!” –Catherine “Thanks for the class yesterday. My helper Daisilyn really enjoyed and we’re adding the dishes to our menu planner from next week.” – Alison
