HelperChoice is a matching website and licensed employment agency. You can find a domestic helper on our online platform and then we can process their visa application for you.

Step 2. After signup, choose a subscription plan on the dashboard in your account. See our Subscription Plans above.

Step 3. After payment, contact an unlimited number of domestic helpers and interview them directly within the designated time period of your subscription plan.

Step 4. Once you find a domestic helper, you may choose our visa process package (applicable for Filipino helpers only).

• What documents are required to start the processing?

1. HKID (local hires only)

4. Previous contract (local hires only)
5. Release letter, if available (local hires only)

After successful signup, you may log in your account and click “Upgrade to Premium” (the orange box) on the dashboard. Choose a plan that fits your needs.

Upon successful payment, you will be subscribed to the designated plan. It means that you can contact, chat and schedule interviews with domestic helpers directly on our platform.

Please note that your subscription plan will be automatically renewed.

However, if you have already found a helper on our platform or you no longer need this service, you may cancel your subscription at any time by going to your account under “premium” -> “options” -> “cancel renewals”.

Generally speaking, when the domestic helpers are already in Hong Kong, it takes a shorter time to process their visa application.

Finished contracts and contract renewals take around 3-4weeks to process the visa application.

Terminated contracts by either the employer or the helper will be regarded as a Overseas case.

If the helper is currently NOT in Hong Kong, you may choose “Overseas Visa” and it will take around 2-3 months to process the application.

Of course yes! We are more than happy to help you to process your helper’s visa application even though she is not hired from our platform.

The package includes all mandatory visa process fees without any hidden fees.

With our 10 years agency experience in Hong Kong, workers’ visa applications are approved in most cases unless helpers have criminal records.

Nevertheless, if the worker’s visa application fails, we will provide you 1 month HelperChoice platform access for free and you may find a replacement on our platform.

Overseas Direct Hire Visa

If FDH fails to obtain employment visa or If employer’s application not approved by authorities, We offer one month of free access to our platform to help you find a replacement. You may also choose another applicant for processing, with prior expenses billed accordingly.

If the Worker cannot start in Hong Kong due to death, medical issues, pre-arrival disappearance, you will receive a 30% refund.You may also choose another applicant for processing, with prior expenses.

If employer withdraws the application, only 25% refund will be processed.

Local Direct Hire & Renewal

If FDH fails to obtain employment visa or If employer’s application not approved by authorities, We refund 75% of the payment or allow the employer to choose another helper with no additional costs.

If FDH fails to report duty, We offer free access for 1 months on our platform to find replacement.

Full Placement Visa

If FDH fails to obtain employment visa/report duty If employer’s application not approved by authorities, We refund 75% of the payment or allow the employer to choose another helper with no additional costs.

The employer’s withdrawal of service will result in a refund of 25% of the payment.

In the event that an employer requests a replacement within three (3) months of the initial helper’s deployment, HelperChoice extends a 30% employer-protection discount on our Full Placement Service. The replacement service will be invoiced at exactly 70% of the original package price, covering all mandatory government, visa, and processing costs for the new hire.
