Expats Expecting 2nd Boy Looking For Second Filipina Helper

We are two working American expats living in Hong Kong for over eight years and we our welcoming our second child, another boy in June. We are excited about our growing family and looking for a second domestic helper in our household to take care of the newborn and help around the house.

It is important the helper has experience taking care of a newborn, is proficient at cleaning, cooking and has a good command of English. We are ultimately looking for someone who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about taking care of kids and is willing to sleep with the baby, can work together with others, is a great communicator, caring and conscious of safety, and can take initiative to operate relatively autonomously.

It is expected that the candidate take their rest day on Saturday and they will often sleep in the same room as the baby. The ideal candidate has sufficient prior experience working with newborns as well as working with another helper. In addition, if you have previously worked with expat families overseas, and can cook Asian and Western cuisines, it is a plus.
