Household & Childcare Assistant

We're a family of four in Clearwater Bay looking for a second helper to work alongside our current helper. This role focuses on the children and the day-to-day logistics that keep things moving. We want someone reliable and organized.
Main responsibilities

School and activity runs: dropping off and picking up our two children (ages 7 and 3), on time and safely, including booking taxis or Ubers and using public transport as needed
Children's activities: planning playdates and activities, and supervising homework
Meal planning: planning meals for the family and adjusting around a busy and changing schedule
Shopping: groceries, household supplies, and specific errands, working from lists and using good judgment on substitutions
Supply management: keeping track of household stock and staying ahead on restocking essentials before they run out
Organization: keeping household items and clothing tidy and well organized, including rotating and storing clothing across seasons
Errands and appointments: keeping track of what needs doing, remembering deadlines and bookings, and staying on top of things like refills, renewals, and small tasks that pile up
Pet care: helping care for our new puppy
Supporting our current helper with daily household routines and childcare as needed

What we're looking for

Strong organization and follow-through
Good memory and clear communication
Comfortable using technology, especially online calendars, for scheduling and coordination
Good with young children, patient and attentive
Punctual and dependable, especially around school timing
Fit and healthy, happy to walk and use public transport to get around
Works well as part of a team
