Reliable & Caring 2nd helper for newborn and 4 year old

My husband and I are busy working professionals living on Hong Kong Island. We are friendly, kind, and deeply respectful employers who lived in Australia for many years before moving to Hong Kong 7 years ago. We take pride in keeping a tidy home and prefer to empower our team with trust and autonomy. Because we strictly do not micro-manage, we require someone who is highly trustworthy, honest, and possesses excellent self-initiative.

Our family includes a 4-year-old son in kindergarten and our sweet infant daughter, who was born in February 2026. We already have a wonderful, long-term helper who has been a vital part of our family since our son was born. She takes the lead as the Senior Helper in our household.

We are looking for a second live-in helper currently based in Hong Kong to join our team and work supportively alongside her.

The ideal candidate is respectful, collaborative, and has extensive newborn experience. A proven track record of stability—ideally having spent at least 4 years with a single previous employer—is highly preferred.

A core requirement of this role is the ability to sleep in the nursery with the baby to assist with night-time care (she is generally a good sleeper but requires monitoring). Additionally, this position requires a Saturday rest day, with Sunday as a normal working day.

Because our household thrives on teamwork, you must be a great communicator who respects the established routines led by our Senior Helper. Together, you will ensure the children are loved, fed, and taken to activities, while maintaining a clean home and preparing healthy meals.
