Canadian Chinese family looking for a helper

We are seeking a professional, experienced caregiver who can contribute to a fair, mutually beneficial working relationship within our family. We are a family of 4, with 2 children aged 10 and 18, living in Hung Hom. The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for elementary school-aged children, either through their own family or previous employment. Multiple years of experience with both Chinese and Western cooking is required. We are looking for a self-motivated, adaptive, and proactive individual who can work with minimal supervision. Given our occasional travel, you must be a trustworthy, independent worker who can manage our home in our absence. Previous experience with Chinese families, in HK or elsewhere, and caring for multiple children is highly desirable. We require someone with good English. Chinese or Cantonese is NOT required. As a relatively quiet household, we seek someone who is also on the more reserved side but can still communicate effectively. While we respect your personal time off, we do require some flexibility in your schedule. Candidates with positive references from previous employers will be given preference. The ideal start date is February 1, 2027.
