I'm looking for an helper

I'm really curious to learn more about you. I'm an American/Polish filmmaker and professor moving to Riyadh with my 11½-year-old son and our service dog.

I work a pretty high-powered job (actually, a couple of them!), and I'm looking for more than a nanny — really a household manager who can become part of our lives long-term. Someone who can take ownership of cooking, cleaning, laundry, groceries and organization, while also helping with my son.

He's quite independent after living in Europe for the past few years, so he doesn't need a traditional nanny as much as a cool, trusted adult he genuinely likes — someone who can help with sports, activities, transportation and meals. If you like sports, LEGO, movies, etc., even better!

We're also very mindful about screens. I don't want us constantly walking around staring at our phones around him. Being present with each other and modeling that for my son is really important to me.

We plan to live in a beautiful compound where my son will also attend school, while I'll have a significant commute to work.

Cooking is a big part of the position. We eat quite healthy, and I can teach you what we like, but ultimately I'd love you to take charge of our meals, groceries and kitchen.

My husband died less than a year ago, and doing everything alone while working simply isn't sustainable. I'm looking for someone warm, capable and proactive who learns our rhythm and eventually sees what needs doing without waiting for instructions.

We're an international family and travel between Saudi Arabia, Europe and the U.S., so the fact that you're American could be wonderful for future travel as well.

I'm a slightly OCD American businesswoman/artist when it comes to cleanliness and organization 😂, but I'm not a billionaire looking for staff. I'm a working professor and mother looking for someone we can genuinely trust, care about and hopefully have in our lives for years.
