Privacy Policy for HelperChoice companion app

Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the HelperChoice mobile application (“the App”) handles information. The App is published by HelperChoice (“we”, “us”).
The App is a companion to the HelperChoice website. It provides quick links to helperchoice.com and an optional local reminder to check your inbox.
Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
The App has no user accounts, no registration, no login, and no analytics. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, files, or device identifiers.
Information Stored on Your Device
The App saves the following only on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party:

This data is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data in Android settings.
Notifications
Reminders are generated entirely on your device using Android’s local notification system. They are not push notifications; no server is involved and we have no way of knowing whether you have unread messages. A reminder is simply a scheduled nudge to open the App.
Reminders are optional. You may turn them off at any time in the App, or disable notifications for the App in Android settings.

We do not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, or photos.
Web Content Shown in the App
The App displays pages from helperchoice.com inside an in-app browser, and can open links to Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube in your external browser.
Important: When you view or sign in to helperchoice.com through the App, your activity on that website is governed by the HelperChoice website Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, not this policy. The website may set cookies and collect information as described in its own policy.
Login cookies from the website are stored by the Android system browser component on your device so you do not have to sign in repeatedly. You can clear them by clearing the App’s data in Android settings. Third-party sites you open have their own privacy policies.
Firebase Remote Config
The App uses Google Firebase Remote Config solely to update the links and text shown in the App without requiring an update from the Play Store.
When the App fetches this configuration, Google may process technical data such as your IP address, a randomly generated installation identifier, device model, operating system version, and app version. This is not linked to your identity, and we do not use it to identify or track you. We use no other Firebase services — no Analytics, no Crashlytics, no Cloud Messaging, no advertising.

Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information, because we do not collect any.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted by the App, there is no personal data held by us that could be exposed. Data saved on your device is protected by Android’s application sandbox.
Your Rights
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. You have full control over the data stored on your device: clear the App’s data or uninstall the App to remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect any change.
