I am excited about the opportunity to join a new host family

I’m Michelle A. Uriarte, 35 years old. I graduated bachelor’s degree in Business administration. I’m from the Philippines seeking for opportunity as a nanny. I’m eager to apply coz i love children and I want to immerse myself in a new culture. I’m also passionate about helping families and I believe that my childcare experiences will be valuable. I have childcare experiences because of my friends and cousins kids which I babysit all the time. I’m always calm and gentle when it comes to treating kids. I have engaged my childhood kids and my cousin’s kids in some activities like pretend-play, sorting and matching games, building blocks, simple puzzles and I can take them into a walk outside. I love hanging out and having some quality time with kids because it makes me calm. I know how to adjust in the child’s developmental ages, their interests and abilities. I also approach challenging situations calmly and clearly enforce rules and boundaries. I know how to act quickly in emergencies. In terms of household chores: •Washing and ironing children's •Providing care to a child when they are sick or upset. •Tidying up the children's room. •Preparing some meals and eager to learn new recipes that you like •Helping out the parents in maintaining the house by dusting, vacuuming, etc. •Loading and unloading dishwaher •Walking the pets (if you have) •Doing some laundry I have learned to be calm under stressful situations because with kids you don't know when something comes up. I'm available already, I have a passport and I’m still looking for a host family that will help me. Thank you for your time and consideration.
