Professional in handling Children with Special Needs!

Hey!👋 My name is Lyka Mae, but my friends and family call me Lyka. I am a 29 years old girl and I live in Dumanjug, a small town in Cebu , a beautiful country in Philipphines. I am an open-minded, hard-working, easy-going, dedicated, trustworthy, helpful, patient, and responsible person. I love taking care of kids and their health, safety, and happiness are the most important to me. I come from a small family, one big brother and one younger sister . My mother's name is Meriam and she is a house wife she's incharge of keeping the house clean and full of life. On the other hand my dad is Donato he is an OFW. I am part of a very close family, and as a result my close inner circle of friend is also often viewed as ‘family’. I cherish and value my friendships; choosing to surround myself with loyal and fun people. I graduated last 2016 from University of San Jose Recoletos, with a Bachelor of Education Major in Special Education. I have experience in handling children with special needs such as ADHD, Hearing Impaired, ASD. I also hold a certificate in TEFL. In addition to that I also teach English online to korean kids ages 5-16years old. I love traveling, learning new languages and different cultures, meeting new people, and definitely making memories. My very calm, collected, patient, and quick learning always comes in handy when dealing with challenging situations. I would describe my strength as the ability to bond really well with kids and also blending in very easily and as a result being able to be their mentor in different aspects of life and also be like their big sister, also the ability to learn from my mistakes. On the other hand, is that I have a hard time letting go of something or someone because I get too attached to children especially and hence becomes emotionally hard to detach from them.
